how quickly time lapses. i'm still trying to figure out how all the pieces of my week fit together. getting way-laid with a cold these last two days hasn't helped. (momentary tangent to rage about how frequently i am getting sick these days. ARG)
i'm also angry that during the 4 hour block of free time I have on campus tuesday, one of the faculty members decided to hold her class in the writers' studio, thereby ruining any concept of quiet work time (and monopolizing the desk space). but, i did find the on-campus library last week, so that may have to be plan b. *fume fume*
friday night, went to japantown for jd's birthday/karaoke experience. it was a small group of boys that i hadn't seen in awhile....maybe a year?...and proved very entertaining. but, woke up saturday morning with this dreaded cold. damn, damn, damn. slept most of saturday night and sunday away before forcing myself into a shower and over to ksg's for dinner, which was totally worth the getting out of bed and showering part. i always love evenings at the house by the beach.
i'm still on the quest for a desk and pinning hopes of productivity to it.
and there's the trip to NOLA in march to see sister that i am rather excited about. also, contemplating a summer trip to italy or paris if i can get the funds and school travel abroad details all tied up with string. it's a nice dream at this point.
